Integrating between E-sourcing 7.0 and ECC6.0 using PI 7.11

Hi All,

We are in process of integrating between E-sourcing 7.0 and ECC6.0 using PI 7.11. Basis people has imported the following SWC from market place into ESR.

SAP_APPL604 for ECC

E-SOURCING JAVA SERVER 7.0

SAP BASIS 7.11

1) In ESR

Here is my issue is when i click on the communication channel templates in E-SOURCING JAVA SERVER 7.0, it is getting error like "Error loading adapter metadata. SWCV ID:XXXX.. does not exist in ESR and SLD.

2) In ID

I am following the standard config guide to configure the ID. Here in the "Connections from component assignment tab"  in Model configuration I tried to create the "create communication channel with template". But the create ICON is disable and not able to enable that.

I struck in the above points, Please help me out in this.

can you create any other communication channel ? maybe there's something wrong with the SAP BASIS 7.11 ?

create the communication channels first and then assign them in the model

As the process I imported E sourcing content in PI and configuring scenario in ID using Model View and when I am trying create communication channel with template, I am getting below error.

Unable to generate the communication channel (Business System, CT_Generic_Receiving_RFC_Channel_For_ERP_Functions): Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed. Detailed information: com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata RFC | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System, type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed. Object does not exist. Detailed informatio n: SWCV ID: b38bcd00e47111d7afacde420a1145a5 does not exist in Enterprise Service Repository and System Landscape Directory.

I am able create the channels manually, but when i try to create communication channel with template as the per the process then only i am getting the above error.

Please help me out in this.

HI,

Were you able to load the template?

In my case we are using E-Sourcing 10.0.6, so imported ESCSRMJSRVOP1006.

Now the communication channel templates use SAP BASIS 7.30 component for adapter metadata and we are having SAP BASIS 7.40. So we are unable to load the template.

Is there any workaround to load the templates?

P.S. :  Only importing SAP BASIS 7.30 component will not solve the problem as the metadata is not present, for that we need to run the .SCA file also.
