Syntax errors at Startsap on target system after system copy Abap

We are performing a Unicode conversion of our R/3 47 Ent Abap system .

During the Unicode conversion we pass from Linux 32 bit and Oracle 10g to 64 bit and Oracle 11g.

The export went fine, and the import too till the latest phases when the Sapinst connect to the Sap system to run the job programmes.

Then it fails because it's not possible to run these programmes.

We find out the Abap Instance come up, but it's not possible to login via Sapgui ; the error  (Syntax error in program SAPLSFES) occur.

There are no errors on the database. We check all the dev_w* files and we see them full of rabax error on Standard Sap programmes.

We try to update the kernel too, but the errors still occurs. The error is not which described in note 459899, and we are not able to find any other usefull Oss note.

Any idea ?

regards

      Hi,

at the end the solution was to transfer again the db export and to redo the import.

      Something was corrupted .

      Good luck.

      regards

Make sure your target release of SAP is completable with the Kernel of SWPM that you are using . In other words if you have used SWMP with Kernel 720 to perform an Export ( for a 740 system) , it will probably work fine  ..but when you import.. if your target system is 740 .. your import will fail at the DDIC login step .. your your instance will not start. Please upgrade the Kernel to move ahead, and always use the correct SWPM to perform the import.

    Thanks,

    Uday
