Dear All,

In Sale Order Quantity not confirmed and Item Category is TAN, Schedule line category CP.

  1. In Material Master MRP1 TAB  MRP type maintained as PD ,
  2. But Planned order and Production orders are created and stock available in Plant, Storage Location and Batch.
  3. Schedule line category determination[VOV5] combination TAN+BALNK + CP +CN  AND TAN+ ND+CN.

Changed MRP type from PD to ND in Material Master and schedule lines are created but unable to  do delivery , showing 0 Quantity available.

Please suggest.

Hi SK,

You need to check first availability for that material for that particular date. Then check in which date it is getting confirmed.Let me know this information then I will try to help you again.

Thanks & Regards

The availability check at sales order and the availability check at delivery differ. At sales order, the availability check is executed using checking rule A. While at delivery, it is executed using checking rule B. You may not have production orders (and other receipt elements) included in checking rule B. But they may be included in checking rule A. Or you may be checking with RLT in checking rule A, and not in checking rule B.

Checking CO09 with checking rule A and comparing it to CO09 with checking rule B should reveal why there is 0 available during delivery creation.

You must do additional analysis, by highlighting the sales order item and clicking on the availability check button on the bottom in VA02. You can also check the stock details in t.code MD04 or in CO09.

These t.codes can help you understand what other sales  orders/deliveries to which the stock is allocated. You have also mentioned that it is batch managed, hence check the batch search strategy records in t.code VCH2 and the parameters maintained in it matches the batch parameters in t.code MSC2N. Make sure the batch is also released to unrestricted status in MSC2N.
