Historical Flag in Adhoc reporting

When running a querry on vacant positions in adhoc, it is showing that the vacant position is open when in fact it is filled. Would the historical flag have anything to do with the reporting in adhoc.

    check the switch in t77s0

    PPVAC PPVAC

This flag is used to determine whether a position is only considered
vacant if it has an infotype 1007 ("Vacancy") or whether every unfilled
position is to be considered vacant. Here, "vacant" means that an
    unfilled position can be (re)filled.

o 0: Every unfilled position is vacant; infotype 1007 cannot be
    maintained.

o 1: The vacancy of a position is indicated by infotype 1007.

Always use function module RH_GET_VACANCY to determine whether a
    position is vacant.

Historical records are permanently stored on the database, so that you

can report on the information at a later point in time.

If the historical-flag is missing the reporting about the positions

and vacancies is not quite correct.

    • it is not possible to deactivate the historical flag

indicator in IMG. The only solution will be a screen modification which

      is not supported by SAP.

When your system prompts the vacancy dialog box to delimit the record

      flag HISTO is checked.

check reports RHGRENZ0 or RHGRENZ1 regarding resetting the flag
