Connection to SAPup could not be established, see following messages. Are the running the SAPup on the central instance host ?

Also did you switch the SAP CI and DB on the host for this upgrade?

Hi Ratnajit,

CI and DB are on the same host.

There is something to consider when you upgrade on MSCS cluster ?

In initialization I have to copy the profiles on CI with ( virtual hostname ) and make a copy with the node name.

Thank you !

Hi Ratnajit,

Yes the cluster service is working fine.

Yes I copy de profiles :

<SID>_DVEBMGS00_<virtual_hostname> ->   <SID>_DVEBMGS00_hostname

START_DVEBMGS00_<virtual_hostname> ->   START_DVEBMGS00_hostname

Then Initialization succed, but now on extraction phase cannot connect to tool.

Thanks !

Can you remove the ones with physical hostnames and try with the ones with virtual hostname.

Yes you're right.  After moving the profiles to another folder "old" the extraction begins.

Thank you Ratnajit
