Work item 000000000000 cannot be read after EhP5 upgrade

Dear all,

Understand that there are many other discussion about the msg "Work item 000000000000 cannot be read" but none of them relate to EhP5 upgrade so I create a new one here.

My problem is after I upgrade ECC to EhP5 and try to approve or reject leave.

(Our EP is still on 7.00 SP25 and ESS on Java WD 600 SP19 with some customization, OSS replied that they will still support this ESS version)

The message "Work item 000000000000 cannot be read" show and unable to approve or reject the leave, and if we press the buttion again the message "Approve/reject most current version of leave request" show
