0FIGL_O14 DSO field map to 0FI_GL_14 DataSource

Hi,

can any body tell me all the fields mapping between "0FI_GL_14" to "0FI_GL_O14"?

in any other transformation, field mapping is done by system automatically between DataSource and  DSO.

Why is that NOT happening between "0FI_GL_14" to "0FI_GL_O14" and Where to get proper mapping?

Even I have tried RSOSFIELDMAP and not getting the mapping.

I have started recently training to move into BW world and please provide any technical details.

I have tried search and getting few fields mapping in forum.  But I want complete set of mapping.

Points will be rewarded.

Thank you

Srinivas

Hi,

Its standard dataflow you can find mapped transformation in BI content. Install BI Content transformation RSDS 0FI_GL_14 <sys name> -> ODSO 0FIGL_O14, you can find this transformation with selection of DSO and Datasource in BI content, hope you are clear with BI content installation.

Hi Avinash,

I have found "RSDS 0FI_GL_14 T90CLNT090 -> ODSO 0FA_DS01" instead of ODSO 0FIGL_O14.  What is the reason and what else I should check now?

Thanks,

Srinivas

Hi Srinivas,

Select DSO 0FIGL_O14 from BI content and in grouping mode select "In data flow before" + display as list view. You will find that transformation.

Hi Avinash,

Please find the screenshot of "0FIGL_O14" DSO which does not have transformation which I was looking.

You can see that "0FIGL_O14" DSO in the screenshot.

Could you please help what is the next step?

Thanks,

Srinivas

Hi Avinash,

Thanks for mapping file and will look into this tomorrow for mapping (I am in US).

Could you please let me know, was there any problem in my BW system where I was unable to see the transformation?

How could you get the mapping in spreadsheet?  Is this transformation available in your BW system?  Give me an example to generate xml file for "RSDS 0FI_GL_14 T90CLNT090 -> ODSO 0FA_DS01" transformation so that I can pull on my own for this type of help to others.

Thanks,

Srinivas

Hi Srinivas,

Yes this transformation is available in my BW system standard content. I have just copied tabular overview of that transformation into excel sheet and saved it in xml format.

Award points if it is helpful.

Hi Avinash,

I have marked as correct answer and I think, it will give you the full points.  If not, please let me know, what to do to give full points.

1) Did you mapped by customizing the DSO as I found below 2 mappings in your XML file which are not there in original 0FIGL_O14 DSO on our BW machine.

MWSKZ[DIRECT]0IS_TXCOD
AWKEY[DIRECT]0PSM_AWKEY

2) Could you please give me the exact steps for generating mapping information into XML format?  I am unable to do it.  If you want, I can create another post for this.

Thank you very much for your help

Hi Srinivas,

Thanks for appreciation.

1) No, I haven't customized this transformation MWSKZ and AWKEY fields mapping are present in BI content of BW 7.3, however it was not there in BW 7.0. I have checked both sys.

2)To copy transformation mapping into xml format:

  • open transformation in Tabular view (Extra -> tabular overview).
  • select whole mapping and copy it into excel sheet, remove other redundant columns from excel sheet.
  • Save file as type " XML Spreadsheet"
