Correct steps for BODS to Hana replication

Guys

If I refer to SAP material and student exercises the steps for loading using BODS are like this:

a) Replicate the table metadata from ECC to SAP HANA

b) Replicate the table metadata in BODS from ECC

c) Replicate the table metadata from SAP HANA to BODS

d) create the dataflow/job etc

If I refer to SAP video and some guys who have gone for certification they describe the process like this

a) Replicate the table metadata from ECC to BODS

b) Replicate the table metadata from BODS to SAP HANA

c) Replicate the table metadata from SAP HANA to BODS

d) create the dataflow/job

What exactly is the correct way?
