Unable to update my password for my orignal account

I had created an account with my work email address and I forgot the password.

I click the forget password and get the email with the link.

I copy and paste the link and the page always says we are sorry but the link you used is invalid.

I have tried to do this several times and no luck...I had to create a new account with a different email address to get it.
