Implement DESADV functionality

Dear Colleagues,

We are planning to implement Despatch Advice functionality (DESADV) for one of our customers.

I wanted to know for maintaining the GLN code, is it correct to use Location1,2&3 in the customer master and through en enhcancement bring in the GLN code of the customer in to the segments or maintain it in the VOE4 transaction. Which is the best approach.

Can somebody who have implemented the EDI DESADV messages throw some light on this aspects.
