Remaining quantity of Closed Sales Order wrongly being considered in Planning

Hi,

We are facing an issue with requirement of remaining quantity of closed Sales Order in MD04.

The scenario is when we place an sales order (e.g., 100 Kg) and out of which stock of the same was available 97.5 Kg which was delivered to the Customer. Due to tolerance in the Sales Order the sales order was closed. But the remaining qty of 2.5 Kg (100-97.5) still appears in MD04 and thus production team needs to either produce this remaining qty or need to delete the proposal in MD04 manually.

The requirement is that as soon as Sales Order is closed (without delivering the full qty), it should be treated as closed from the planning perspective as well and the remaining qty should not transfer from Sales Order to MD04 & others

Can any one suggest some idea to resolve this issue?

try if report SDRQCR21 can remove this quantity. if yes, then this inconsistency is probably caused by some bug which is unfortuatly not identified (since many many years)

The transaction SDRQCR21 doesn't exist when I checked at my system.

Could you please check this?

I never said that this is a transaction, I wrote report. and reports are executed with SA38
