Hi,

we are getting below dump while the user executing the IW32 transaction, please advice me

Short text
The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.

What happened?
The current application program detected a situation which really
should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).

What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.

To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
    administrator.

Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.

Error analysis
    Short text of error message:
Program error (contact your system administrator)

    Long text of error message:
     Diagnosis
         An internal error has occurred.
     System Response
         Processing stopped.
     Procedure
         Contact your system administrator.
If possible, send all relevant documents to SAP for analysis.

    Technical information about the message:
    Message class....... "CO"
    Number.............. 901
    Variable 1.......... " "
    Variable 2.......... " "
    Variable 3.......... " "
    Variable 4.......... " "

Hi Kanakala,

In the workprocess log (dev_w<x>) you can find further information about this dump. Check the short dump to find the workprocess which was used.

Hello Kanakala,

MESSAGE_TYPE_X is likely kernel problem.

You'd want to update your kernel level up to latest version.

That'll solve most cases.

Please see the thread. http://scn.sap.com/thread/1416362

Thanks

Hi Kanakala,

MESSAGE_TYPE_X Dumps are mostly related to a corrupt SAP GUI installation.

Reinstall the SAP GUI, or try to use the newest patchlevel.

Kind regards

Manuel
