SBOP Data Services Install on windows with BI 4 on linux

We have installed BI 4 SP4 (FP 3) on redhat linux. we are installing SBOP Data Services on windows 2008 server but it is unable to connect/install it in BI 4 CMS. SAP support suggested to install Data Services in BI Linux server and then install on windows server.

I am not sure if someone did this and it worked. Please guide me as I am fairly new to Business Objects.

Hi Deepen,

One option could the following:

1. Install IPS/BOE (CMS) +  DS EIM APS Services + DS Management Console on the one machine
2. and DS Job Server and Access Server on another.

However I didn't try it myself (on different platform).

I am sorry I am not able to help you with your question.

I have another question for you: where did you get BI4 SP4 (FP3) media?

Are you a part of Feature Pack 3 ramp-up program?

I haven't been able to download FP3 from SAP service marketplace.
