Control Recipe Generation

Hi Gurus,

I am working on SAP PP PI on process orders with control recipes.

After process order is created and released, I have a batch job which generates the control recipes.

Process Order status changes to CRCR (Control Recipe Created).

I want to understand, in which circumstances Control recipe generation will FAIL to create.

I am getting message - values assigned to char. 0040 PPPI_CONTROL_RECIPE_STATUS in process instruction 0030 phase 0020 which is causing the failure?

Any clue on this?
