upgrade project queries

Hi All,

I am SAP CRM tecnical consultant

I am involved in SAP upgrade project ( CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0 ) . The project is of type technical upgrade and is at initial stage.

Soon Basis guys going to refresh the systems.

I would like to know step by step work that technical consultant need to do in this type of upgrade project.

It would be of great help if you provide me documents or link.
