Remodelling through 1:1 mapping with characteristic

Hi,

For remodelling an infocube through 1:1 mapping with characteristic, we need to map the characteristic in the transformation/update rules, in that case do we need to map the new characteristic to the old characteristics in the update rules.

For eg., new_char is going to be populated by values from old_char, so once the remodelling rule is scheduled do we need to add the new_char in the update rules.
