Reading Barcode values from Paper using Barcode scanner and post to SAP

Hi,

How to read barcode from a paper and capture the underlying text and post it into SAP transaction?

I our project we have a requirement to capture data(some text information) stored on bar code label by a bar code reader, and then send this information to SAP.

    Hi Samit:

First Make Sure you are able to Scan the Barcode with your Scanner(Barcode Reader).Open up a notepad and then Scan the Barcode, you will then see the Barcode Value in notepad. Now execute your SAP Transaction and place the cursor in the field you want to scan the value and then Scan the Barcode again. You will see the Barcode Value in the SAP Field then everything is executed as per the logic of your SAP Transaction.Make sure your SAP Field in the SAP Txn has correct length to accomodate the Barcode Value.

    Hope this helps!
