data services repository creation in linux

Hi all,

I have installed IPS and DS in linux ( Suse ) Environment, both are in one server. Now when I am trying to create repositories I am getting the following error

  • I went to the folder where DS is installed and went into bin folder and tried to execute the command ./repoman .
  • Now its showing the message
  • Error while loading the shared libraries : libthread3012d.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
  • Please let me know is this the right way of doing or is there any other method for repository creation Thanks Naga

source the al_env.sh file before running the repoman command

cd to Data Services bin directory and run the following command

    source al_env.sh

    or

    . ./al_env.sh

1573033 - Data Services errors when attempting to run the svrcfg or repoman utility on a UNIX platform

As Manoj's reply you should source the environment variables before you run the repository manager
