Application component in ECC system

Dear Friends,

Having query regarding application component in SAP ECC System.

1. My query is we are creating one custom table (generic) , as a bi consultant I need to extract that data in to ECC to BI System by using generic extraction method RSO2.

Here problem is what ever created custom table without assigning to any application component can i do extraction or not?

2.My second query is

Can we create custom application component in ECC System (RSA5,RSA6) or not ?

As per my knowledge it is not possible to create custom app component, please suggest me in this .

Finally created custom table is purely generic not related any standard application, without assigning any app component how can we extract from ecc to bi?
