Caching in WD JAVA Portal pages

We are working on CE 7.2. We created portal pages from our WD JAVA applications. But when looked in properties of these portal pages, i am unable to change "Allow Client-side Caching" and "cache level" are disabled. How can we try changing these properties as we need to enable Client side caching at portal page level?

As i stated in my question, the 'Allow client caching' property which is given in the link is disabled and is not allowing us to change. This is the problem.
