How to clear KM Metadata Cache-Urgent

Hi SDNers,

I had created one KM custom s metadata property say "Test" and in document validity pattern, given it to for e.g. A and B folder's files. Now I have removed folder B from the Document Validity Pattern path and thus this property is now only applicable for folder A files. .

Initially i was fetching this "Test" property for both A and B files and it was working fine, now since i have changed it to only appear for A folder's files, i am still getting this property and its value for B folder's files through resource.getproperties(). But when i check in file properties it is not showing but code is still fetching the property 😔

After changing the Document validity pattern, i re-indexed the documents and restarted the server to clear all the cache but its not working. How we can clear the metadata cache? Please update me asap if anyone have solution for it.

    Hi Sweta,

Check if you have maintained any values for the 'Folder validity pattern' in the configuration.

You can clear the following caches under System Administration -> Monitoring -> KM -> Cache Monitor if they are activated

    ca_cm (CM Cache),

    ca_cm_content (Cache for Small Content)

    ca_props_1, ca_props_2 (Caches for Application-Defined Properties)

      Hi Tanush,

I am retrieving this property for existing data only and have more than 1000 documents 😔. I tried with new document also but for that it is not retrieving. Because of this only i restarted but hard luck still.
