Yield in Final Confirmation vs. Goods Receipt quantity in MIGO

Dear all experts,

My client need to perform final confirmation CO11N on the same day.

But they can only obtain the final weight data 2-3days later.

What is the impact if i confirm the yield 980kg today and 2days later GR for 1100kg?

Thank you.

Best Rgds,

Sebastian

    Dear Sebastian,

Assuming that backflush is set for the components of the order, now in this case in

CO11N/CO11,during yield confirmation the system posts 261 movement for the components to the

proportionate amount of 980 kg or the GI happens according to the yield quantity.

Also apart from this the activities gets calculated as per the yield quantity that is confirmed.

In standard SAP ,the system allows to post GR more than the confirmed yield quantity.

But using under delivery tolerance and over delivery tolerance set in the work scheduling view can be

used to control the quantity that is posted as a GR against the production order quantity.

    Check and revert back.

      Hi Mangalraj,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I see. Generally if my formulas do not take yield into calculation, I don't need to bother about whatever yield quantity confirmed, my only focus will be on GR quantity as it will impact my costing. Is that right?

Is yield quantity confirmed has any impact on the scrap?

      Thank you.

      Best Rgds,

      Sebastian
