material type wise field control

Dear Gurus,

i have maintained the setting as per plant level but problem is it is applicable to all material types associated with plant but we want only for some material type .

how is it possible????

ask your basis team, they are usually the people who can grand you access, take a SAP training or register for the SAP Learning Hub     and you get a user id and password

Hi, for this first you have to create a "screen sequence" of your own requirement, using OMT3 transaction (you can do this by copying other standard screen sequence), then you need to add secondary screens and fields over there.

Then in OMT3E as I mentioned in earlier screenshot you have to fill any name in "SRef mat type" field and then you have to attach this new screen sequence to "SRef trans", remember this "SRef trans" is attached to transactions codes.

This will surely solve your problem

i do not think it will solve my issue.

we have two plant s1000 & 2000 .

we made the setting for plant 1000 ,profit center is mandatory field but in this plant there is material type FERT,HALB,ROH  system made this field mandatory for all materia types but we want only for FERT.
