Profitablilty report on the equipment

Hello All,

We have a requirement of creating a profitablilty report on the equipment. The report should be able to provide the details on actual values (like actual reveue and cost). The report should not be including any planned revenue, cost and WIP while calculating the profit. However it should include the cost absorbed internally.

I am palnning to take the values from COPA. Can you please advice

1. If we have any other better option availabe with us.

2. How do we differentiate between the WIP cost and the actual cost?

Regards

Jyoti

    Hi Jyoti,

WIP cost will not flow to COPA. Variances will flow to COPA to different value fields.

You can create a COPA form for Cost and Revenue.

Create a COPA report with necessary characteristics.

Execute the report and verify the results.

Let me know if you need any further details.

    • Thanks Adi for your response.

Can you please help me with the record types, that I should consider for all fixed proce, chargable and contract cost? I can see more than 10 record type in COPA table and just wanted to confirm the ones that will carry the actual costs & revenue and not the WIP or planned cost.

      Thank you in advance

      Jyoti
