Hi,
I am facing an error while accessing the transaction iview through protal. Error is "Logon balancing : parser error in '/M/>system name>/S/3600/G
This error is coming in our QA system while development its fine.
We also followed the SAP note for inserting the entry inside services file but still same error is coming.
we found one difference is application host name is present in dev but not present in qa.
Greatful if anybody can help on this..

Hi Gaurav,
Have you checked the SAP Notes : 123462 and 604324.
To narrow down the scope of this issue, could you please use SAP GUI to connect the backend system directly for a test?
If the error still exists, please check the file Saplogon.ini and create a new one of them. then test the logon to this involved system.
Also please check the Sapmsg.ini under C:/Windows and the services file.Otherwise, if the issue just occurs when you use the portal then Please open the system object in Portal system landscape editor:
(System Administration > System Configuration > System Landscape)
and select the category "Connector". Maintain the group and save the entries.
It might be that some of the properties are not configured correctly.

Gaurav can you provide connection details from the system object to which you are connecting.
From the error it seems like there is an issue with the object itself.

Hi Amit,
In dev we are maintaining application host name but in QA we are maintaining message server.
Dev system (gateway host -ecchd1.abc.xyz.com also same for application host. gateway service - sapgw00)
QA System( message server - ecchq1scs, gateway host and gateway service are blank in qa)
Thanks,
Gaurav
