Unauthorized error in PI moni.

Hi,

Scenario : FILE (xsd)-->pi-->mdm

File is getting failed in MONI and error saying that : Unauthorized, but when we just resend it's moving successfully. This is happening daily basis.

When i check the TRACE ...Error exception return from pipeline processing.

Could you please help me what would be the reason and how could i resolve this.

Hi Yeswanth,

Check for the user and password you have provided in the channels that are part of this scenario.

Probably a wrong password is causing this error.

Could you check which user was used on the successful run? Depending on how you executed it the user might be your dialog user giving the credentials. If this is the case, it is probably an authorization error, if it is the system user, then rather some problem with adapter configuration or the servers (that deserves some further investigation then).

Does this problem happens in all scenarios or only in this one?

If the problem happens in all the scenarios then this problem seems that any  PI user needs some extra authorization, may be PIISUSER.

Check the authorizations here

Have you changed recently any PI user password?

This issue comes where HTTP connection not stable between PI components, Please share screen shot of error message in Moni.

Request basis team to fix this issue and check log message you will find which user id participating.

Unauthorized error comes when the user credentials are invalid or if the user is in session  and servicing currently and some other request goes to the same system concurrently for the same user then during that short duration the messages could be users locked or unauthorized. Please check with BASIS or network team to see any other process uses the same user during that time. Since this occurs only intermittently and not permanently check the other system or interfaces or any batch jobs uses the same credential to the same system.
