WAD - Can not edit the layout

Hello experts,

I have a very odd issue with Web Application Designer (Support Package 6, Revision 501).

I can not select the existing Web Items or Drag & Drop any new Items into Layout.

I can only edit them via Properties --> Web Item Parameters.

I tried to search for notes, but did not find anything helpful.

Did anyone encounter this issue?

Hi,

Please do the following manual steps and then check the issue.

Go to Transaction: SE16
Enter the table name "RSZWMDITEM" and press enter.
Enter the value for MDITEMNAME as "TARTITLE" and execute.
If you find entries for TARTITLE,then please delete all these
entries from the table.

After this, please do the following:

Open Web Application Designer.
Go to Tools -> Settings -> Refresh Metadata -> OK
   Now close and restart the web application designer.

Hi,

Then you will need to uninstal and re-install BEX GUI frontend (which includes WAD also).

You will need to make sure to apply latest BEX GUI Patches.

After the patch WAD seems to work fine.
