Automatic mail sent to customer when service order is assigned in ressource planning

Hi gurus,

I am looking for a way to send an email to customer from RPA when assignment is saved, so as to inform him about the intervention scheduling.

Is there a standard way to do it? Any link between ressource planning and PPF Actions?

Otherwise I have been thinking of using a method within badi CRM_SRV_SDL, but I haven't yet figured out which one matches my need.

    If you are defining a partner function for the service technician in the order, based on it you can define an action definition to send an email to the customer.

    If there is no partner function then you have define one which will copy the employee from the assignment and then this action can be configured.

    The PPF action work, I read the assigments from an implemetation of BADI EVAL_STARTCOND_PPF. And it works!
