subtransaction type use

hi all,

it will be very helpful if somebody explains the use of sutransaction type in excise with some practical(live) example.

what is the main role of subtrasaction type in CIN?

transaction type determines wat accounting entries to be posted in particular transaction .. example GRPO  is transaction type which determine excise accounts against receipt for PO.

Now in import you want to capture value of CVD in account different then BED .. you use transaction type 'IP'.

In nutshell if for same transaction type if u want to use separate GL account , u use sub transaction type and it is entered in Excise invoice header. While posting system determine accounts for combination of Excise group , company code , transaction type and sub transaction type

Hi,

Excise Transaction type  is the main type in excise  like example "GRPO"

is the excise transaction type for Good Receipt with Purcahse Order.

The Transaction type are for example:CAPE,UTLZ and  TR6C etc..

The Sub transaction type is used for multiple purposes like example:Subcontracting and Excise removals so as

to differentiate alternate transaction for account determination process.

Hi sumit,

The main importance is to post duties to separate GL accounts.Here u maintain both the combination of transaction type and sub transaction type and on that basis systme post into the gl accounts.
