ME59N and no valuation price in PR

Hi all,

My question:

May I know if I will to use ME59N (automatic PO creation in background job), I know the PR must have a source (i.e. contract, PIR, etc) assigned to it, however, if PR has the source but no valuation price, will the auto PO creation PR successfully convert to PO?

thanks,

tuff

    Hi Daniel,

In short automatic PO from PR is only possible when PR has Source (Source means combination of price and vendor). If this is not there then automatic PO wont be possible. Also incase of ERS Vendor you have to maintain tax code in Info record before Automatic conversion using ME59N.

why not run it into system and see the result for yourselves ,( quick and confident way to check will or will not type of questions)

anyways answer to above question is again why not 😊 ... what has PO got to do with valuation price in PR. It should have source with purchase price in info record

    Hi,

if no price in any master data, you can not create auto PO from PR.

If no price of material master or service master, then why PO will be created as PO is a commited documnet with vendor!
