PA30 - Creating Multiple records for same subtype

Hi Experts,

In PA30 for an Infotype 2002 we have different subtypes. For each subtypes the system is allowing me to save multiple records on the same date without showing any overlapping or delimit or delete message.

Please let me know the solution, i do not want to have multiple entries for the same subtype on same date. But system should allow me to create new record with different subtype on the same date.

Eg: Subtype: 1111

10.06.2012 - 10.06.2012

Subtype : 2222

10.06.2012 - 10.06.2012

Regards

If I am understanding you correctly, seems like you are having an issues with your time constrait configuration. Therefore, review your settings for this infotype at the following IMG step:

    Personnel Management>Personnel Administration>Customizing Procedures>Infotypes>Infotypes>2002

You can also access via transaction code SM30 and table V_T582A.

    Hope this helps!

    hi,

plz check the below link which gives details for Customization in Time Management in which system shows collision of Infotypes at same time can be restricted. Check the same customization at your end.

    Hi,

Can you check the Sub types configuration tables in the SPRO, Tables V_554S_N and V_T556P.In which value for the Time Constraint class should be '01' as per your requirement.

    Hope it helps.

      Hi,

As per the SAP Standard you can create multiple entries for a single attendance type with different time duration on same day. But it would throw a collision error if you enter the time for already entered time. I think which has not happened in your case (as per the screen shot).

      Regards,

      Vivek.

      Hi,

I know their is a possibility of working with Specify System Reaction to Overlapping Time Infotypes by specifying the reaction of indicators. It will gives me the time collision happening with the screen if you enter same date of absences/attendence. It is working fine when i checked.

But, I am looking if there is anymore alternative solution for my issue.

      Regards

Reaction indicators is the best approach and also exits you can use

verify if you have done some changes to ignore warnings using exits

    SAPLXPAD:

    EXIT_SAPFP50M_001

    EXIT_SAPFP50M_002
