BI 7 delete master data function in context menu

Dear Experts

As you know, in BI 7, we can delete master data with right mouse click and select the context menu option "Delete Master data".

Then a popup box prompts for deleting with or without SIDs. Then BI says you are able to delete how many of the master data and then you click ok and BI deletes the master data for you.

How can I call this function programatically or via process chain?

Our BI 7.0 is at SP21.

I know that in BI 7.3 there is a program for this.

How can I have the same function in BI 7 without SP update?

regards

Pascal

    Hi Pascal,

It is evident that you do not have authorisation to delete the master data..if you try to delete this it will get deleted but it is not physically deleted ok..once u will come back u will see same record again..

just do SU53 screen shot after master data deletion and u will get to see missing authorisation

    RSDMD_DEL_MASTER_DATA

    there is one program also..

search there are many threads on this in SDN

    Thanks and regards
