LCM error ArrayIndex

Trying to promote a Universe failed with this message:

Commit Status=Commit attempted and failed, Promotion Status=Failure : Job promotion failed. The reason for failure : com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMException: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 8 com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMException: com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMException: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 8 at com.businessobjects.lcm.job.Job.promote( at com.businessobjects.lcm.job.Job.promote( at com.businessobjects.lcm.job.Job.runImmediate( at at at com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.idl.OSCA.OSCAip.IJobPOA._OB_op_run( at .....etcetera

Now we are unable to promote any report as we get this error everytime when trying to promote an object.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem and does anybody know what caused this error and how it can be prevented?

Thanks in advance,

      Thanks Graham,

unfortunately the Query Builder was missing on the system, so I could not check the universe yet, but it is clear that this Universe caused the problem.

Thanks to you, looking for the reposcan I found the LCM repair Batch file and this worked.

Considering the cause of the problem (a very huge Universe) I think it is wise now to check SI_FILES property before promoting to avoid the problem as it is not only blocking the universe to be promoted, but every else afterwards.
