BW Query as a input to other interface

Hi Gurus,

Can someone suggest, how we can take a BW Query as a input to other interface? what are the possible methods of doing that?

    Hello Ramesh,

    suggest, you have BW 7.30 or above, you have to optionions:

    1) it is very easy to use a Query as InfoProvider and connect this infoprovider to your desired interface.

    2) Use the easy query-feature ( also described in my blog http://scn.sap.com/community/data-warehousing/netweaver-bw/blog/2012/02/17/my-first-steps-with-easy-query) and call the function module from whereever you want.

    If this options does not fit for you, I would suggest to write a Virtual InfoProvider which calls the query with the function module RRW3_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA. (See http://scn.sap.com/thread/3181331).

    Hi Ramesh,

    You can use query elements for RRI (Report-Report interface) in which you can jump to another query or web URL,etc.

    You can use APD plus ABAP program for doing this ..
