User cannot see the Text changes

Hello Experts,

I have updated the text for the infobjects. When we re-run the workbook or the query I as a developer see the updated text in the report. But the user is not able to see the new text even he refreshes the workbook. Could there be a reason for this.

Please help.

Thanks

BWer

    Hi BWer,

    It's because of cache.

A user needs to close BEx and open it again. Sometimes it doesn't help immediately. I had situations when updated data were seen as updated just the next day.

    Best regards,

    Eugene

    Hallo

The issue could it be to buffer sincronization.

Where do you run the query? Central Instance or APpplication Server?

Check also the dispaly text property. Maybe he saved the workbook with different setting in his local version.

    Hi,

Did you run the Attribute/Hierarchy Change run after you load the text data?

You can access it from RSA1 --> Tools --> Apply Attribute/Hierarchy Change.

    Thank you
