COPA update billing condition based on statistical or real

Hi all,

We have an complex business structure with lot many company codes falling under different business segment.

We have multiple sales condition procedure. An manual condition ZN99 exist that will over ride all price calculated by system. Whenever ZN99 is in use other condition becomes inactive and only ZN99 is updated in COPA.

Recently an Business group came up with requirement that difference between ZN99 and ZA01(system price determination) should goto to Discount ZD01. Based on above SD guy made ZN99 as statistical for that pricing procedure applicable to some company cod. Business is able to see the effect they want.

But it screwed COPA as ZN99 and ZA01 is mapped to ERLOS, revenues are booked twice.

Need your assistance to find a way to resolve this. COPA should not get updated when ZN00 is statistical. Please i cannot remove any mapping as it is widely in other business that are well settled. One solution i think is to use new condition instead of ZN00 andthat should not be mapped in COPA.

Atul

Hi Atul

You said you want ZN99 in COPA for sure.. So its gonna be there

Then ZA01 if you want in COPA - you should use a separate Val Field and not ERLOS... Else, it will double up.. You must ensure that both values are parked in Separate Val fields in COPA so that you can calculate the diff during reporting...

Or you can simply update ZD01 (Calculate ZD01 in SD Pricing Procedure) in COPA in the discount val field

Hi Ajay,

I agree with u, but i cannot disturb current setting. we have multiple company codes assigned to single controlling area

In other company codes all condition are real but when ZN99 is used other condition becomes inactive and only value in Zn00 goes to COPA

whereas in new upcomming scenario (meant for limited company codes) has treated ZN99 as Statistical.

As a result real price ZA01 and ZD01 are real and active. Also they cannot inactivate ZN99 in pricing procedure as it will not allow to enter value.

Since in COPA we have ZA01 and ZN99 are mapped to ERLOS. double revenue is booked.

we need solution such that if condition is statistical no update to COPA and viceversa.

Hope i am clear.

Sorry brother, but you have no choice

And note that you are not disturbing any thing,.. You are retaining the assignment of ZA01.. Just mappin to a different Val Field....

Dont be afraid by the fear of unknown!!

Thanks Ajaybhai,

I am not afraid of mapping it with other value field but it will impact reporting from BI and will raise issue on standardisation considering the volume and complexity.

I have informed SD not to use ZN00 for their new scenario but to create an new condition similar to ZN99. I will not map it COPA and so in given scenario only ZA01 and ZD01 will move to COPA.
