How to set as default for document numbering in a batch

Dear All,

Our client is on SAP 882. They have 20+ users they want to change the document numbering for ALL SAP transactions.

That means I have to go check all document type and series (since they can't tell which user is using what series)

Uncheck the existing one and check the new series.

Is there an easy way we can do it in a batch? Otherwise it will take hours to change it. Thanks.

Regards,

Yuka

    Hey Yuka,

Unfortunately I think you are stuck with hand entry in this case. The information you are looking for is in the NNM2 table but this table is not exposed to the DTW so a bulk import and update is not possible with the standard tools. Since you mentioned that this would only take a few hours you are probably best off just biting the bullet and setting out a manual process and getting people to work.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news,

    Hello all,

Extremely old thread, I know. But you can now update the user default numbering using ServiceLayer:
    POST https://server:50000/b1s/v1/SeriesService_SetDefaultSeriesForUser

    Best regards,

    Joerg.
