SAP Crm Sales 2.01 - > allowing to see all contacts&accounts on IPAD

Hello all ,

On IPAD i can see contacts & accounts that i create with my user, but i can not see the data which i didnt create.

On web UI i can see other contacts & accounts which is not created by me, is there a possible way to see all contacts&accounts on IPAD ?

So if there is an opportuniy on web which is created by me but contains some data which is not created by me(like competitor, contact,account) , i see their ID on IPAD like 000000529. But i want to see their name .

Is this possible ?

Solution is creating custom Distribution Model in DOE.

CRM Sales mobile app works offline. It means data is stored in device.

For example, CRM backend has 50,000 accounts in world wide, but you are sales person working on 50 customers in specific region of your country. You don't want to store other 49950 customers on your device. You need some custom rule to distribute data to your device.

ok i want to ask another question related to this.

when i create activiy, it creates on CRM side, but instantly disappears on device. i can only see it on recent section. no data comes on activiy section, how can this be possible ? i am sure it was working 2 weeks ago. download-upload customizing looks good.

You can monitor data flow by monitoring tools. Please logon to NetWeaver mobile with SAP_DOE_ADMINISTRATOR role.

thank you i fixed.

the problem is a user exit is blocking to set the start and end date of the activity.

so they were not coming.

now it works, ty.

is there an easy for just seeing the contacts and accounts ? like deleting a a rule or deactivating it ?

because custom rule is a bit complex process.

I dont want to add everyone as responsible for an account via ABAP

Bulk rule sends everything without rule.

I would like to know use case.

Role of user: Sales/ Sales Manager/ Marketing ??

Customer A has 50,000 accounts in their CRM system. Sales B handles 50 accounts he is responsible in Tokyo. Sales B needs to look at other 49,950 accounts in his device, because ... and follow-up action is ...

if i delete all rules under MAS_PARTNER

everyting will come ?

yes customer wants to see every every every account and contact for each sap account on device.

last question just need to show all accounts contacts,

project is going live

if i remove distrubution rules on MAS_PARTNER (or which one ) will i get all data ?

I think so. Please try in Dev landscape. (Not Production landscape).

You should copy standard distribution model and change it to bulk rule.
