How to create a key figure can create purchase requition

Dear all,

I am setting a planning book for SNP. In this planning book, i have to create a key figure. This key figure like the key figure 9APSHIP, distribution receipt (planned), it can create purchase requisition.

My scenario is below:

There are 2 locations 1001 and 2001 and 2 products A and B

The location 2001 receipt 500 products A from 1001, then the key Distribution receipt planned value is 500.

But in the same time, the location 1001 receipt 200 products B from 2001. So i have to create a key figure KF1 to save this value.

Then the result in my planning table is:

Location    Product      Distribution receipt (planned)       KF1

1001          2001          500

1001          2001                                                          200

Please show me how to create this key figure KF1,

Dear Thai,

From my point of view, KF1 is just the key figure 'distribution demands' for location 2001 product B.

I suppose that you have some customizing logic, that whenever you create 500 receipts at 2001 for product A, a PR at 1001 for product B will be automatically created.

If this is the case, you don't need KF1 at all. Your process will be like this:

1)Load 2001/A

2)Input 500 at distribution receipts KF - source from 1001

3)Load 2001/B.

   If your own logic works, you can see 200 in distribution demands

4)Load 1001/A

    You'll see 500 at distribution demands

5)Load 1001/B

    You'll see 200 in distribution receipts

If you do not use customizing code, and you just need to create the two orders separatedly, you'll need to operate like below:

1)Load 2001/A

2)Input 500 at distribution receipts KF - source from 1001

3)Load 1001/B

4))Input 200 at distribution receipts KF - source from 2001

Anyway I don't think it's necessary for you to create a new key figure.

Dear Ada,

My customer require me to create new key figure, so do you have any other solution to create a new key figure.

In your solution, the location 2001 must be set as source of 1001 in transportation lane. This will affect the heuristic run.

And do you know how to set key figure Distribution demand planned to input/output? Because when i set  this in the design mode, there is a message

Key figure <Distribution Demand (Planned)> must not be set to ready for input.

I want to change the value in key figure Distribution Demand planned, the the program will automatically create an purchase requisition in key figure Distribution Receipt planned. Is this possible?

Hi Thai,

The user's requirement is strange.

You can create your own KF, but it should not be different from distribution demand or receipt.

I did not see the purpose of it.

PRs are always created from target location, so you cannot input in distribution demand.

Sorry I cannot help you on this ... Hope others may help.

But I think you should convince your customer that this is unreasonable, and SAP may not support this in case any problem occurs ...
