Problem registering system in SLD

We have just upgraded our Solution Manager form 7.01 to 7.1. After this we have seen that there is an error in the Solution Manager AS ABAP server registration in the SLD:

#190 06/11/2012 10:55:53.192 [Thread-40] ERROR
com.sap.lcr.sagent.specificbuilder.BCSystemBuilder: Supplied data for
SAP_BCSystem.CreationClassName="SAP_BCSystem",Name="SOL.SystemNumber.0020297411.SystemHome.null" is corrupt.

com.sap.sld.api.wbem.exception.CIMException: CIM_ERR_FAILED: ComputerSystem has no key property "Name"

I have found just one reference to a similar `problem in note 963501, but it is for a different version, I have removed the technical system from the SLD, hoping it would be created again in the next RZ70 refresh, but I still get the same error.

I would appreciate any help to solve this issue.

Hi Jose,

Check the profile file to see if you have set Profile parameter SAPDBHOST.The SystemHome Name depends on the the R/3 parameter settings as per note 1052122. So please enter the value of SAPDBHOST and try again. You might need to restart the whole system in order to active the parameters.

Thank you, Hugo, you were right, there was a problem with the SAPDBHOST parameter. Even though it appeared to be defined in the DEFAULT profile, when I verified it this parameter appeared as 'not defined'. So I removed and created it again, and now the registration works.
