ALV-Editing and saving the edited values in Database for normal display

Hi,

After displaying the output i need to change the one for the field and then it gets updated in the database level,

please help me......... alv is displays in normal display not in oops....

    Hi Mahesh,

    1.For the field which you want to edit in ALV add the below field in the field catalog :

    WA_FCAT-EDIT = 'X'.

    2.In the FM for ALV, Add the call back program parameter.

    I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND = 'USER_COMMAND'.

    3.USER_COMMAND will be a sub-routine which gets called on user action.So for save its as below:

    FORM USER_COMMAND USING R_UCOMM LIKE SY-UCOMM
    RS_SELFIELD TYPE SLIS_SELFIELD.

    CASE R_UCOMM.
    WHEN '&DATA_SAVE'.
    ENDCASE.

    ENDFORM.

    4.Write an update query to update the edited field inside the f-code ie., after '&DATA_SAVE'.
