Typically the SAP Kernel is available for different OS and DB combinations.

Is HANA Appliance available only for Windows or other Operating Systems also ?

Which Databases does it support ? Sybase ? SQL Server ?

For HANA client:

LINUX REDHAT EL5/X86_64 64BIT

LINUX REDHAT EL6/X86_64 64BIT

WINDOWS SERVER 2008/IA32 32BIT

SAP HANA in itself is a database. Was your second question around the Hardware it supports? If so, again you will find all that information in the product avaiability matrix.
