aggregation happens in a standard dso but not in a write optimised dso?why is this happening?and pls tel me what is the significance of aggregation in a dso??should i change the update mode to additive manually or by default it happens???...pls help
Hi Kiranjit,
In BI 7, standard DSOs, have overwriting key figure values by default.
This is set in the transformation rule of the key figure (aggregation = 'Overwrite'). You can change it to 'Summation' in order to get the aggregation.
In case of write optimized DSOs, data is loaded based on requests. There are no key fields defined. Therefore records cannot be overwritten or aggregated.
