hi experts

during creation of master recipe i have found this error-- enter the no . of an existing operation

what are possible solutions

here i m not considering resource ,  ( i consider 0100 or 0010 operation , & sub operation 0100 or 0010)

Hi Sachin,

Are you assigning the BOM components to the operations/phases?

If you already have a BOM for the product and are setting up the receipe, the system assigns all the components to the first operation by default, and we can reassign the items to different operations as the business process needs.

Can you attach the screenshot of the receipe, showing the error also?

during creation of master recipe , i got this error

when i m trying to copy recipe of other material ( which is having resources & operation /phases) -- no any prob. to create my recipe header material

but when i m trying totally new recipe creation i m getting error

i want to create recipe without resource , is it possible ( like routing) ?

During phase creation you might have entered wrong superior operation no, which is yet not created.

yes without resource you can create master recipe.

Dear Sachin,

As well said by Dhaval,you can create a master recipe without mentioning any resource.

I would suggest you to check in C201,by mentioning a default recipe profile that contains the default

setting for control key and operation/activity increment and also ensure you give the correct operation

no during defining the phase.

Check and revert.
