Storage type xxx does not allow negative stock figures

Hello experts,

                I am facing one of the issue while posting transfer order, please let me know how can solve the issue? I understood that there is no stock for that material how can we transfer the material for the below requirement.

System cannot find source storage bin

Please check the stock in LS26 & then provide inputs in source storage type/bin accordingly.

You know there is knowstock and you are receving the error.Please maintain the stock then do transfer or cancel the transfer order.

Hello,

You get such message when you try to issue material from source storage type where " negative stock allowed" check box is not checked. Generally we do not allow negative stock in storage types other than interim storage type.

In your case you are trying to issue material from storage type where available stock must be less than required stock. So to issue material and to create TO, kindly do goods receipt in same storage type for required material (by using PO & MIGO, or MB1C with movement type=561), after this try to create TO for goods issue.

This will help you to solve your problem.
