How to restrict the sales employee field in MCTI Tcode

Hi Gurus,

We need to test one scenario that whether it is possible to restrict the SALES EMPLOYEE field for the users in MCTI Tcode.

While we are creating a new role for the tcode MCTI we are able to restrict the users by Division, Sales office, Sales organization & Distribution channel ORG levels. But we need to restrict the users by the field SALES EMPLOYEE.

Please help me regarding this issue.

Thanks & Regards.

Mahesh.

Use ONLY one on the either option of my previous answer

Use a custom tcode with check on sales employee

      a. ask ABAPer to create custom tcode by copying MCTI, as standard tcodes should not be changed.

      b. ask ABAPer to create custom Authroization object for field VRTNR(Sales Employee)

      c. assign/tag this custom authorization object to the cusotm tcode created.

      d. make Authorization cheking active in SU24 for this Authorization object and tcode

      e. now you can create a role and assign this tcode , so that SAles Employee will be checked.
