PR document number

While entering an external number at the time of PR creation, we are able to save the PR with a decimal point included (e.g. 123.456).

Can anyone tell if this should be possible if yes, & why?

    Hi RIshi,

Field EBAN-BANFN has data typy CHAR, so I think it would be ok to use the decimal point.

It is common to see consultants using letters on PR/PO number, so, as far I can see, there is no problem to use the ".".

    Best regards,

    Eduardo Junior

      Hello Eduardo,

Thanks for your reply. That's very true. Another issue now is the system accepts the number '12A',

but NOT '1A2' for the PR, which is quite strange. The number range being used is - 1000000000 to 1999999999. Can you please suggest ?
