In PI Sheet, Header material is issued in Goods Issue

Hi

I need few clarifications in goods issue using PI sheet.

1. I have used standard PI_CONS process message with message destination PI04 and the standard target fields.

2. I have created a Process instruction category YP_BLIS and assigned this process message category PI_CONS (O12C)

3. I have assigned this process instruction category YP_BLIS  to the control recipe destination group Z2 in CRD  (O10C)

4. I have created a master recipe ( Valid from 01.01.2001) for the header material(Material number is 1001001000) and in the operation details I have entered the process instruction category.. In the component list, I have kept one component  R100100100.

5. Ihave created and released the process order.

6.In the change process order, i have generated the control recipe 

7.I went to CO53 and send the document to control recipe destination

8. Then I went to CO60 and marked the PI sheet complete

9.In CO54, I saw two lines of process message category(PI_CONS) both performing the same function. In the master recipe,I have only one operation and phase

10. I have an additional process message category PI_CRST which I have not added in O10C

11. The most significant problem is that during Goods issue, the header material is posted as a goods issue to the order.I have enough stock of the input material.

Can some body throw some light on these red colored issues?

Hello,

Please check generation scope must be 0 instead of 1.

If you are using components that are subject to batch management, and which are assigned via batch determination before the material items are posted, you must make the relevant settings for batch determination (see Batch Determination). In this case, batch determination is carried out in the process order. Batch determination can also be carried out using the goods movement functions described above. In this case, you must have defined the Customizing for batch determination in materials management.

Hi,

Thank you for the link. I have tried with both 0 and 1 . But I am getting the same issue of header material  being issued to the order.

I found the answer for point no 10 that it is a system generated message.

The points 9 and 11 are still behaving the same way.

HI,

Point no 11 is solved as I have not added the Characteristic PPPI_DATA_Request_type to the process Instruciton category.

For the point no 9, I still get two lines with same process message category. But, In the first line item with PI_CONS message category, the header material is displayed as an input in the characteristics PPPI_material and in the second line item, the input material is the component material in the PPPI_material characteristics values.

Has anybody an idea why is behaving so?
