PROACT - BuyerParty is missing or invalid

We are using SNC 7.02 and trying to run the Order Forecast Process (Dynamic Replenishment).

I am sending the data via PROACT from ECC to SNC. The inbound ProductActivityNotification_In xml is failing in SNC with the following error:

BuyerParty is missing or invalid 011(/SCA/DM_SV_PROACT)

BOL processing failed. XML-message inbound processing has been terminated 002(/SCA/DM_BOL_CON)

BuyerParty is missing or invalid

My PROACT idoc in ECC does not have the AG partner function in ECC under segment E1ADRM1. Does that matter?

My Ship-to location plant 1101 has a Business Partner Assigned to it.

Can someone help me understand how to resolve this?

please check your settings for the master data completion in the
following part of the customizing:

   SAP - Implementation Guide
     -> Supply Network Collaboration
        -> Basic Settings
          -> Processing Inbound and Outbound Messages
             -> Maintain Settings for Master Data Completion

As our assumption the default process type have been
used for this inbound PROACT which seems to be in your system 'VMI'.please change it to 'ICH'.

Therefore you need a master data completion profile for the following
scenario:

    XML Inb. Interface: 'ProductActivityNotification'
    Process Type:       'Responsive Replenishment'

Could you please give it a check? I hope it can help your issue.

Thanks for your suggestion.

It is already set as ICH Supplier Collaboration for PROACT_I ProductActivityNotification in this node.

But its still failing for BuyerParty.

Is there anything else I should check?

I found this note 1364025 which talks about:

"Master data completion dumps if the inbound XML does not have any party

information either at the header or item level."

I am trying to implement the same and will see if that works.

The solution code as per note 1364025 is already in the system. Any other suggestions?

Hi Laiyin,

You were right. It was set as VMI - but NOT in Master Data completion but in:

SAP - Implementation Guide

     -> Supply Network Collaboration

        -> Basic Settings

          -> Processing Inbound and Outbound Messages

               -->Process Types for Inbound Messages

I set it as ICH Supplier Collaboration and now its working. Thanks!
