For UNBW (Non Valuated) material, what is the purpose of material cost upon movement?

I just got below scenario in valuation class for UNBW material:

1. In transaction GBB, Account modification VBR, valuation class 3300 -> G/L Account is 712000 (Expense Account)

2. In transaction GBB, Account modification VKA, valuation class 3300 -> G/L Account is 712000 (Expense Account)

Can somebody please explain the meaning of above scenario..

What is the purpose of material cost to expense account upon movement like above scenario?

Many thanks,

April

UNBW is Non Valuated Materials so whenever you Purchase UNBW Material the Value will be Immediately Expensed out, So you can track only Inventory of UNBW Material & Not the Value,

Normally PO for this material is made with Account assignment,i.e. using AAC K,M,E, So if you check this AAC in T-code OME9 you will see the Acct modification maintained as VBR & VKA, so that's the reason you see this Acct modification in GBB

Also Usage of Account modification VBR & VKA are,

VBR - for internal goods issues (for example, for cost center)

VKA - for sales order account assignment
